Electric mountain bike ECONO Gams MTB 29 EEC6 (2026 Series)
Superior stability and accessibility: The ideal "Low-step" MTB with 90 Nm of torque and Shimano Deore equipment.

Who is the ECONO Gams MTB 29 EEC6 best suited for?
The EEC6 model is the perfect choice for cyclists looking for a comfortable mountain bike with a low step-through frame, but who do not require the extreme torque of the most expensive models. It is ideal for recreational riders who enjoy long tours on asphalt, gravel, and forest paths. Thanks to the EEC (Low-step) frame geometry, it offers maximum safety when mounting and dismounting, while its robust MTB design allows for true off-road riding without limitations.

Series differences: EEC6 vs. EEC7
To help you decide which model to choose, check out the key differences between the EEC6 and EEC7:
- Motor: The EEC6 uses a Bafang M410 (90 Nm) motor, while the EEC7 features the more powerful M510 (110 Nm). Although the M410 is slightly weaker, at 90 Nm it is still more powerful than most of the competition on the market.
- Derailleur: The EEC6 uses the reliable Shimano Deore (11-speed), while the EEC7 model uses the elite Shimano Deore XT series.
- Affordability: The EEC6 offers an almost identical riding experience and the same frame and brake quality as the EEC7, but at a noticeably lower price, placing it at the very top of the range in terms of value.

Bafang M410: Balanced 90 Nm power
The Bafang M410 mid-drive motor (36V, 250W) is designed for cyclists who want a natural feeling of assistance with enough reserve for steep climbs. With 90 Nm of torque, you will easily conquer most mountain ascents. The motor operates quietly and efficiently, and its assistance is limited to up to 25 km/h. A high-performance torque sensor ensures the motor works in harmony with your pedaling – the harder you press, the more assistance you receive.

Comtron ELK battery and charger system
All ECONO Gams versions use the same Comtron ELK smart battery system. Three options are available:
- 520 Wh (15 Ah): Includes a standard 2A charger.
- 700 Wh (20 Ah): Includes a fast 4A charger.
- 800 Wh (23 Ah): Includes a fast 4A charger.
The battery is fully integrated into the frame, which protects the cells from external influences, while it can also be quickly removed with a key for charging in an apartment or office.

Shimano Deore 11s: Reliability on every kilometer
Flawless shifting is handled by the 11-speed Shimano Deore RD-M5100 SGS system. With the massive Shimano Deore CS-M5100 (11-51T) cassette, you have an extremely light gear ratio for the toughest climbs and a fast gear for flat sections. Shimano Linkglide technology ensures that the chain runs smoothly even under motor load, which extends the lifespan of the entire drivetrain.

Safety with 4-piston brakes
Even though it is the mid-range model in the series, ECONO does not compromise on safety. The EEC6 is equipped with powerful 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes Shimano DEORE (BR-MT420). The higher number of pistons ensures better distribution of braking power and prevents overheating on long descents. Combined with 180 mm rotors, you will stop safely even at the bike's full load capacity (up to 150 kg).

SR Suntour air suspension
Comfort on off-road terrain is provided by the SR Suntour XCM32 AIR-BOOST air fork with 100 mm of travel. Unlike cheaper coil forks, the air system allows for precise adjustment of stiffness based on your weight. The BOOST (15x110 mm) standard ensures greater rigidity of the front of the bike, which means better handling in corners and on uneven terrain.

Smart color display with Bluetooth connectivity
The compact Bafang DP C080 color display offers an excellent overview of all bike functions. It is mounted on the side of the handlebars, allowing for safe control of the five levels of assistance. The display allows for Bluetooth connection to a smartphone, where you can track your route, navigation, and battery status with percentage accuracy via the app.
