Beginnings

It all started with a simple question: "Where can I find an affordable, high-quality, and eco-friendly means of transportation?"

This question, asked in the heart of Ljubljana, didn't just spark curiosity—it sparked a movement.

In May 2023, six friends—Adi, Jaka, Tilen, David, Andraž, and Stefan—turned their shared passion for technology and the environment into something real.

Adi was the group's hands-on master, a true magician when it came to repairing electric vehicles. Tilen and David, the digitally savvy brothers, knew electric scooters inside and out and captivated the community with useful, authentic social media posts. Jaka was the team's source of good vibes—always there to boost morale when it started to dip. He even cleared out his parents' garage to give the team a space for service and storage!

Andraž, the brains behind the operation, handled logistics, finances, and all the challenging calls with customers and suppliers. He even turned his car into a mobile eVolt billboard, driving around Ljubljana like a one-day parade. Meanwhile, Stefan set up the first eVolt.si online store and built the brand's digital presence from scratch.

Fast forward to January 2024—eVolt d.o.o. officially became a reality. A company with a clear goal: to offer Slovenia a greener, smarter way to move.

Growth

In March 2025, eVolt.si experienced a remarkable period of growth, and we expanded our green mobility solutions far beyond the borders of Slovenia.

Building on a solid local foundation, we expanded our offerings throughout the entire European Union and launched a new, user-friendly online store — eVolt.eu — which today proudly serves customers in 25 EU member states.

When friendship grows into a successful and strong partnership

At EVOLT, we have always believed in something more than just selling electric vehicles—we believed in building lasting relationships that drive innovation forward. That's why we are especially proud to announce a new chapter: a strong partnership with our long-time friends and pioneers of e-micromobility, the company EKO DRIVE d.o.o.

For many years, EKO DRIVE has been at the forefront of the green mobility movement in Slovenia. As the official importer of ECO Speed and Teverun electric scooters, they have been co-creating the future of our movement—cleaner, faster, and smarter. Since we share a common vision of a more sustainable world, our partnership was only a matter of time.

Starting August 1, 2025, we are taking this collaboration to a whole new level: we are opening the largest e-micromobility showroom in Slovenia, right in the heart of Ljubljana, at Tržaška cesta 222.

This isn't just a place where you can see or test electric scooters and bikes—it is a 200-square-meter space created to inspire. A space where customers can experience the technology up close, receive expert advice, and connect with other e-mobility enthusiasts.
