Beginnings

It all started with a simple question: “Where can I find affordable, high-quality, and eco-friendly transportation?”

That question, asked in the heart of Ljubljana, sparked more than just curiosity—it sparked a movement. In May 2023, six friends—Adi, Jaka, Tilen, David, Andraž, and Stefan—turned their shared passion for technology and the environment into something real.

Adi was the hands-on genius of the group, a true wizard when it came to fixing electric vehicles. Tilen and David, digital-savvy brothers, knew scooters inside out and kept the community buzzing with helpful, organic posts on social media. Jaka was the team’s mood booster, always lifting spirits when motivation dipped. He even cleared out his parents’ garage so the crew had space for repairs and storage!

Andraž, the mastermind behind the scenes, handled logistics, finances, and all those tricky supplier and customer calls. He even turned his car into a mobile eVolt billboard, cruising through Ljubljana like a one-man parade. Meanwhile, Stefan built the first eVolt.si webshop and crafted the brand’s digital presence from scratch.

Fast forward to January 2024, and eVolt d.o.o. officially came to life—a company on a mission to give Slovenia a greener, smarter way to get around.

Growing

In March 2025, eVolt.si experienced a period of remarkable growth, extending our green mobility solutions well beyond Slovenia's borders. Building on our robust local foundation, we expanded our offerings across the European Union and launched a new, user-friendly webshop—eVolt.eu—now proudly serving customers in 25 EU member states.

For years, EKO DRIVE has been at the forefront of Slovenia’s green mobility movement. As the official importer of ECO Speed and Teverun electric scooters, they’ve helped shape the future of how we move—cleaner, faster, and smarter. Sharing a common vision for a more sustainable world, our partnership was only a matter of time.

Starting August 1st, 2025, we’re taking this collaboration to the next level by opening Slovenia’s largest electro micromobility showroom, right in the heart of Ljubljana at Tržaška cesta 222. This isn’t just a place to see and test our electric scooters and bikes—it’s a 200-square-meter space built to inspire. A space where customers can experience innovation firsthand, get expert advice, and even connect with other e-mobility enthusiasts.

Our goal? To create the leading electro-mobility hub in the region—a space where community meets cutting-edge technology, and where passion drives progress.
