Electric bike ECONO Gams SUV 29 C6 2026
A premium trekking-adventure e-bike with SUV-class equipment and an exceptionally powerful mid-drive motor.

Who is the ECONO Gams SUV 29 C6 electric bike best suited for?
The ECONO Gams SUV 29 C6 model is designed for the most demanding cyclists who want to combine the comfort of a classic trekking bike with the robustness and durability of a true SUV segment vehicle. If you are looking for a bike that handles paved roads, gravel paths, and light off-road challenges without compromise, this is your ideal choice.
With wide 29-inch tires, an exceptional load capacity of up to 150 kg, and premium equipment, it offers stability and safety in all weather conditions. With pedal assistance up to 25 km/h (limited), it is the perfect partner for long trips, daily commutes, or exploring untouched nature.

Bafang M410 mid-drive motor: Power that pushes boundaries
The heart of this e-bike is the new Bafang M410 mid-drive motor (36 V, 250 W). This powertrain places the C6 model at the very top of the range, offering an impressive 90 Nm of torque. This means you will easily conquer even the steepest climbs, no matter how heavily loaded you are.
The motor boasts high efficiency, exceptional responsiveness, and a natural pedaling feel. Due to better weight distribution and optimal power transmission, it ensures superior stability even under heavy loads, which is crucial for e-bikes in the SUV segment.

Comtron ELK battery ecosystem: Complete freedom of choice
All ECONO bikes use a unified battery system developed in Slovenia, which provides incredible flexibility. The smart Comtron ELK battery is removable and easy to handle. Depending on your range needs, you can choose between three different capacities:
- 520 Wh (15 Ah) for daily rides.
- 700 Wh (20 Ah) for long cycling trips.
- 800 Wh (23 Ah) for ultimate adventures and maximum range without worry.
The battery is charged via the included 2A 4-pin charger, and the entire system is carefully integrated into a high-performance aluminum frame (ALU6061-HT-GEN.2).

Bafang DP C080 smart display: Control at your fingertips
The compact yet extremely clear Bafang DP C080 color display is mounted on the left side of the handlebars (ECONO SUV 700 mm). Its ergonomic position allows for safe operation without moving your hands from the handlebars. Color coding ensures instant readability of important data while riding.
The system allows you to switch between five levels of assistance: ECO, TOUR, SPORT, SPORT+, and BOOST. If you want exercise without electric assistance, simply select level 0 – the motor creates no resistance, and you will experience the same feeling as on a classic bike.

Shimano Deore drivetrain and uncompromising braking
Rely on the precision of one of the most respected shifting systems in the premium segment: Shimano Deore 11-speed. The RD-M5100 SGS rear derailleur, combined with an exceptional 11–51T (CS-M5100) range cassette and a durable Linkglide 11s (124 links) chain, ensures optimal gear ratios for steep climbs and fast descents.
Because a heavy SUV e-bike must also stop safely, it is equipped with Shimano Deore (BL-M4100/BR-MT420) hydraulic disc brakes. This is a powerful 4-piston system with large 180 mm diameter brake rotors front and rear, ensuring raw stopping power in all situations.

Ready for anything: Air suspension and full SUV equipment
The ride is smooth thanks to the SR Suntour XCM32 AIR-BOOST air suspension fork with 100 mm of travel, which perfectly absorbs bumps. Contact with the ground is maintained by premium Schwalbe Johnny Watts (29x2.35") tires, equipped with Addix compound and RaceGuard puncture protection, mounted on robust ROVER XL rims.
For the complete SUV experience, the bike comes standard with mudguards (ECONO Type T2), powerful LED lighting (front 8V-58V, rear 6-48V), a strong kickstand (40mm direct mount), and a Boost MIK rear rack with a "Click and go" system that carries serious loads.
Differences between the ECONO Gams SUV 29 C6 and C7 models
The main difference between the ECONO Gams SUV 29 C7 and C6 bikes is in the motor power and the quality of the drivetrain components. The C7 model represents a more powerful version for the most demanding users, while the C6 is a balanced and more affordable choice.
- Motor: The C7 model uses a Bafang M510 (110 Nm of torque) motor, which is lighter and more powerful, while the C6 model has a Bafang M410 (90 Nm of torque) motor, which is still above average for this class.
- Shifting system: The C7 is equipped with the professional Shimano Deore XT (M8130) series with Linkglide technology for maximum durability. The C6 uses the standard but very reliable Shimano Deore (M5100) series.
- Cassette: The C7 model features a Shimano CUES LG700 cassette with thicker teeth for longer service life under load, while the C6 uses a classic Deore M5100 cassette.
Summary: Both bikes share the same frame, premium 4-piston brakes, air suspension, and SUV equipment. Choose the C7 if you need raw power for the steepest climbs and top-tier XT equipment, or choose the C6 for the best price-to-performance ratio for everyday adventures.
