Electric bike ECONO Mare SUV EEC5 2026
A premium "SUV" trekking bike with a brutally powerful mid-drive motor (90 Nm), an 11-speed drivetrain, and mountain tires.

Who is the ECONO Mare SUV electric bike best suited for?
The ECONO Mare SUV model is created for demanding cyclists who do not accept compromises. It combines the comfort of easy access (low-step frame) with the incredible performance of an off-road bike. This Sport Utility Vehicle among bikes easily "devours" city curbs, and even prefers to head out onto forest trails and challenging gravel roads.
With a more active riding posture, the massive torque of the mid-drive motor, and premium 29-inch off-road tires, this is the ideal bike for nature explorers, cyclists on weekend off-road trips, and those who simply need the greatest possible robustness and power for their rides.

What makes the SUV version so superior (compared to the CITY)?
While both models share the prestigious "Mare" name, the SUV variant is heavily upgraded at key points to tackle rough terrain:
Brutal power and range: Instead of 80 Nm, the SUV model brings an upgraded Bafang M410 motor with an exceptional 90 Nm of torque. This means significantly higher pulling power when conquering hills.
Drivetrain and braking system: The SUV model is equipped with an advanced 11-speed Tektro system (a cassette of up to 11-50T), which allows for high cadences even on the steepest climbs. For control on descents, a larger 180 mm disc brake has been installed on the rear wheel.
Mountain contact with the ground: Instead of city tires, the bike proudly wears true mountain tires, Schwalbe Smart Sam 29x2.1, and the handlebars are wider and flatter for more sporty and stable handling on terrain.

Bafang M410 mid-drive motor with a massive 90 Nm of torque!
The central technological jewel of the bike is the advanced Bafang M410 mid-drive motor (voltage 36 V, nominal power 250 W), which adds power while cycling up to 25 km/h (limited).
The central position ensures perfect weight distribution, and the motor offers a staggering 90 Nm of torque. Thanks to a sophisticated sensor, the motor recognizes your cadence and pedal power extremely quickly, offering an immediate and natural response. With this power, you will conquer steep climbs without breaking a sweat and with a big smile.

Flexible Comtron battery for marathon adventures
Maximum power requires plenty of energy. That is why power is provided by a smart, Slovenian Comtron ELK smart battery, integrated into the frame tube. Depending on how far you want to explore, we offer three completely interchangeable capacities:
Choose between 520 Wh (15 Ah), a generous 700 Wh (20 Ah), or go "All-in" with an impressive 800 Wh (23 Ah). You can easily unlock and remove the battery from the bike and charge it at home or in a hotel with a powerful Comtron 2A (for the 520 Wh version) or Comtron 4A fast charger (for the 700 Wh and 800 Wh versions).

Smart connectivity with the Bafang DP C080 console
To interact with the electric system, you will use the durable and clear color display Bafang DP C080, mounted right next to the left handlebar grip. The system supports 5 levels of assistance plus a 0-level (the bike operates without motor resistance).
Since we live in a digital age, the display includes a smart Bluetooth interface. Via the Bafang Go App (iOS/Android), your mobile phone connects to the bike and provides "live" diagnostics, displays cell voltage, and offers extensive insight into the statistics of your SUV adventures.

Off-road equipment: 29" wheels with Schwalbe Smart Sam
Front suspension is handled by robust SR Suntour NEX-E25 Coil 28'' suspension forks, while the rims bring a true mountain revolution to this segment. Instead of city dimensions, the Mare SUV is shod in true, hybrid 29-inch MTB tires Schwalbe SMART SAM (29x2.1).
The tread of the Smart Sam tire is legendary, as it offers a smooth ride on asphalt, but when you turn into mud and gravel, its side knobs bite mercilessly into the surface. The rims are reinforced with 14G spokes (32 holes) and are ready for rough loads.

Advanced 11-speed drivetrain and superior brakes
This bike is an engineering feat of gear ratios. It has abandoned the classics and adopted a robust 11-speed Tektro system (RD-M5100-L) in combination with a cassette that has from 11 to 50 teeth (11-50T). This means that in the first gear, with a 50-tooth rear sprocket and 90 Nm of motor power, you will be able to climb literally anywhere, while the chain is stabilized by KMC eTurbo technology.
What you bring up quickly, you must also stop safely. This is taken care of by Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic disc brakes with an above-standard rotor size: massive 180 mm front AND rear.

Ready for expeditions with complete equipment
The riding posture is more active for better control over steering. This is made possible by the wide handlebars (Width: 700 mm, Bend only 18°) and a sport-tuned stem (R:35°, E:90). For contact, ergonomic Velo VLG-1505 grips and a VL-6574 seat are installed.
To ensure the bike can be used for travel immediately, it comes with a standard integrated rear rack MIK Boost 29" ("Click and go"), complete waterproof protection with PVC mudguards, a strong 40mm kickstand, and a safety LED light Satelite C19 at the front and ECONO WD216 at the rear.
