Electric Mountain Bike ECONO Gams MTB 29 C7 (2026 Series)
The pinnacle of the Gams series performance: Uncompromising MTB power with top-tier Shimano XT equipment and 110 Nm of torque.

Who is the ECONO Gams MTB 29 C7 best suited for?
The C7 model represents the absolute top of the Gams family range. This is a bike for cyclists who are not just looking for a means of transport, but a sports machine capable of conquering the steepest climbs and technically demanding terrain. It combines the robustness of a true mountain bike (MTB) with the comfort expected on longer expeditions. If you want maximum motor responsiveness, top-tier shifting precision, and stability on 29-inch wheels, the C7 is your first choice.

Model comparison: Gams C7 vs. Gams C6
You might be wondering why choose the C7 designation instead of the C6? The difference lies in the details that mean a great deal on the trail:
- Drivetrain system: While the C6 offers standard reliability, the C7 uses the elite Shimano Deore XT 11-speed system, which is lighter, faster, and more resistant to the stresses of an e-motor.
- Cassette range: The C7 is equipped with an 11-50T cassette, giving you a significantly easier gear ratio for extreme climbs compared to lower models.
- Responsiveness: The optimization of the Bafang M510 motor on the C7 model is focused on maximum torque utilization during sporty riding, ensuring more aggressive acceleration out of corners.

Bafang M510: Brutal 110 Nm torque
At the heart of the bike beats the latest generation Bafang M510 motor. Although it operates with a rated power of 250 W, which classifies it as a road-legal bike (speed limit up to 25 km/h), it is its torque that impresses. With 110 Nm of pushing force, you will conquer inclines where other cyclists have to dismount.
The motor is designed for high efficiency and a natural pedaling feel. An integrated torque sensor measures your pedal pressure thousands of times per second and adjusts assistance accordingly, which prevents "jerking" and ensures a smooth ride.

Intelligent energy and fast charging
The ECONO Gams C7 uses an advanced Comtron ELK smart battery system, which is fully integrated into the down tube of the frame, yet easily removable with a key. Three capacities are available: 520 Wh (15 Ah), 700 Wh (20 Ah), and an extreme 800 Wh (23 Ah).
Important regarding charging: When choosing the 700 Wh or 800 Wh batteries, you receive a 4A fast charger, which almost halves the charging time. The base 520 Wh version includes a standard 2A charger. The smart BMS system in the battery ensures a long lifespan for the cells and safe operation in all conditions.

Shimano Deore XT: The standard in professional mountain biking
Power transmission is handled by the 11-speed Shimano Deore XT RD-M8130 SGS derailleur. This series is known for its Linkglide technology, which is specifically developed for high-torque e-bikes. Shifting is smooth, quiet, and extremely precise, even when the Bafang motor is running at full power. The Shimano CUES LG700 cassette with a wide 11-50T range ensures that you will always find the right rhythm, regardless of the terrain gradient.

4-piston stopping power and air suspension
Safety at high speeds and on steep descents is ensured by 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes Shimano DEORE (BR-MT420). A higher number of pistons means better modulation and significantly greater braking force compared to standard 2-piston brake systems. In combination with 180 mm rotors at the front and rear, the bike stops immediately when needed.
Comfort and grip are provided by the SR Suntour XCM32 AIR-BOOST air fork with 100 mm of travel, which you can precisely adjust according to your body weight via air pressure.

Smart color display Bafang DP C080
On the handlebars is a compact and robust Bafang DP C080 color LCD display. It is positioned to the side, which protects it from damage in the event of a fall, while allowing operation without taking your hand off the grip. It offers 5 levels of assistance (ECO, TOUR, SPORT, SPORT+, BOOST) and level 0 for riding without motor assistance (no motor resistance). The display supports Bluetooth connectivity and the use of an app to monitor all ride parameters.

Stability and grip: 29" wheels and Schwalbe tires
The Gams C7 rides on 29-inch ROVER XL (622x30C) rims, which allow for easier passage over obstacles and better momentum. Schwalbe Johnny Watts 29x2.35 tires are ideal for SUV/MTB use – their tread offers low rolling resistance on asphalt and excellent side grip on forest paths. DD (Double Defense) and RaceGuard technology provide a high level of puncture protection.
