The ECONO Mare City is equipped with a Bafang M210 central motor rated at 250 W and delivering a maximum torque of 70 Nm. Positioned centrally, the motor ensures balanced weight distribution and a natural pedaling feel. Its 36 V architecture and optimized power delivery provide efficient assistance across urban commutes and suburban paths. The torque-sensing system adjusts assistance based on rider input, producing smooth transitions and reduced strain on the drivetrain. Unlike hub motors, the central design integrates directly with the Shimano 9-speed Altus drivetrain, enabling superior climbing ability and higher efficiency on varied gradients. Engineered for reliability, the M210 operates quietly with minimal vibration, meeting EU e-bike standards for performance and safety. With responsive power support and refined torque control, the motor enhances the riding experience without sacrificing endurance or ride quality.

Battery Endurance

The ECONO Mare City offers a choice of three integrated ECONO ELK batteries: 520 Wh (15 Ah), 700 Wh (20 Ah), and 800 Wh (23 Ah). Depending on configuration, the system supports a range of up to 160 km under optimal conditions. The removable design allows easy charging on or off the bike without tools. Each battery is equipped with smart BMS protection, managing over-charge, over-discharge, and temperature monitoring to extend service life. Charging times vary with battery size: the 2 A charger fully charges 520 Wh in approx. 7.5 hours, while the 4 A charger charges 700 Wh or 800 Wh packs in under 6 hours. Reinforced integration into the 6061 aluminum frame improves vibration resistance and maintains a clean aesthetic. With advanced capacity options, the ECONO Mare provides long-distance reliability for both daily commuting and extended touring.

Safety Features

For reliable braking, the ECONO Mare City is equipped with Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic disc brakes, featuring a 180 mm rotor in the front and a 160 mm rotor in the rear. This ensures consistent stopping power in both dry and wet conditions. The SR-Suntour 28'' suspension fork with 50 mm travel enhances front-end stability, absorbing shocks and maintaining tire contact on uneven surfaces. Schwalbe Energizer Plus Tour 28×2.00 tires offer puncture protection with GreenGuard technology and reliable grip for urban and light off-road terrain. Integrated LED front and rear lights increase rider visibility in low-light conditions. An integrated frame lock provides added anti-theft protection during stops. Yes, absolutely! You're welcome to visit our showroom at Tržaška cesta 222, 1000 Ljubljana, where you can test selected products in person. We’re open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 16:00. Please note that we’re closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Please note that shipping to Croatian islands is only available for products weighing less than 31.5 kg.

International Shipping (Non-EU)

What is the shipping cost?

What's the return policy?

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. To do so, send us an Email with a clear written notice.

Return Shipping

The customer bears the direct cost of return. We will deduct either (a) the actual carrier cost applicable at the time you initiate the return, or (b) the applicable amount from the return cost table (whichever is lower).

Condition of Goods
You may inspect the product as in a physical store. Any use beyond this may result in a reduction of the refund to reflect diminished value.

Refunds
