The ECONO Apes EER4 is powered by a Bafang H400B rear hub motor delivering 250 W of nominal power and up to 40 Nm torque. Mounted in the rear wheel hub, this design provides direct power transfer, ensuring responsive acceleration for urban riding and flat-terrain cruising. The motor works in combination with a cadence sensor, which activates assistance smoothly when pedaling begins, making it intuitive and beginner-friendly. Battery Endurance

The ECONO Apes EER4 is equipped with removable ECONO ELK batteries in three capacities: 520 Wh (15 Ah), 700 Wh (20 Ah), and 800 Wh (23 Ah). Depending on configuration, the e-bike delivers up to 160 km range under optimal conditions. The batteries are interchangeable across the 2025 ECONO model line, offering flexibility for owners with multiple bikes. For charging, the 2 A charger is paired with the 520 Wh version, while the 4 A charger supports faster replenishment of the 700 Wh and 800 Wh packs. Reinforced housing within the 6061 aluminum frame ensures secure integration, vibration resistance, and easy removal without tools. The battery management system provides cell balancing and over-voltage protection to extend service life. With versatile capacity options, the Apes EER4 guarantees long-lasting endurance for city commutes and leisure cycling.

Safety Features

Safety on the ECONO Apes EER4 is delivered through Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic disc brakes, equipped with a 180 mm rotor in front and a 160 mm rotor in the rear, ensuring reliable stopping in both dry and wet conditions. The SR Suntour NEX-E25 suspension fork with 75 mm travel absorbs impacts, improving stability and rider comfort on uneven roads. OBOR Mambo E25 28×2.0 tires provide traction, puncture resistance, and durability for city terrain. Integrated LED front and rear lights improve visibility and extend operational safety during low-light conditions. A MIK-compatible rear rack allows secure and easy attachment of accessories, enhancing practicality while maintaining safe load distribution. Yes, absolutely! You're welcome to visit our showroom at Tržaška cesta 222, 1000 Ljubljana, where you can test selected products in person. We’re open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 16:00. Please note that we’re closed on Sundays and public holidays.

To ensure the product you'd like to test is available, we kindly ask that you call us in advance. This way, we can confirm availability and prepare everything for your visit.

Please note that shipping to Croatian islands is only available for products weighing less than 31.5 kg.

International Shipping (Non-EU)

What is the shipping cost?

  • For deliveries within the European Union (EU), shipping costs vary depending on the country of origin, destination, and package weight. The applicable shipping fees will be calculated and displayed during checkout, prior to completing your order.

What's the return policy?

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. To do so, send us an Email with a clear written notice.

Return Shipping

The customer bears the direct cost of return. We will deduct either (a) the actual carrier cost applicable at the time you initiate the return, or (b) the applicable amount from the return cost table (whichever is lower).

Condition of Goods
You may inspect the product as in a physical store. Any use beyond this may result in a reduction of the refund to reflect diminished value.

Refunds
We will refund all eligible payments, including standard delivery fees, within 14 days of receiving the return product, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
