Why Is My Electric Scooter Battery Not Working?

Note: In cold weather, battery range can drop by up to 40 %, resulting in shorter ride times. This is normal, and range will improve as temperatures rise.

How to Store an Electric Scooter Battery in Winter

For long battery life, keep it active. If you won’t use your scooter for an extended period, charge the battery for at least 15 minutes once a month—full discharge isn’t necessary. Li-ion batteries are least stable while charging or fully charged. For storage, maintain a charge level between 40 % and 60 % capacity. At this level, batteries remain safe and undamaged. If they drop below 20 % charge, long-term capacity loss can occur.

For proper replacement of the BMS or any battery inspection, please contact your nearest service center. A regular service check is recommended at least once a year, or immediately if any irregularities appear. This ensures safe riding and a long lifespan for your scooter.
