Choosing a quality and suitable tire is essential for a safe ride and for getting the most out of your e-scooter.
This 70/65-6.5 tire is tubeless and does not require an inner tube.
The package includes one tire.
Preventing Tire Punctures
The most common cause of tire punctures is riding with incorrect tire pressure. Most electric scooters require at least 3.5 bar, so check the pressure weekly with a reliable gauge.
Riding with incorrect pressure can cause:
- Punctures and damage to the tire
- Excessive tire wear
- Poorer grip and a higher risk of slipping
- Longer braking distances
- Impaired handling
When to Replace the Tire
Replace the tire immediately when you notice poorer handling, reduced grip, vibrations, or visible wear. Under normal use, expect to replace it every 1,000–2,000 km.
Visible Signs of Wear
Outer surface: A flattened profile, scuffs, or holes. Aggressive braking and stunts accelerate wear.
Inner surface: Detachment of the wire structure, often a result of incorrect tire pressure.
Avoiding Installation Problems
Incorrect tire installation can cause:
- Damage to the motor cable or frame
- Damage to the rim
- Damage to the tire or causing a puncture
